Privacy policy

This policy describes what happens to personal information in connection with paramountworks.online. The short answer is that the site itself collects nothing; the longer answer, including the two exceptions, is below.

1. Who is responsible

The publisher of this website, and the entity responsible for the personal information described here, is:

This policy is written with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles in mind, because the site is written for readers in Australia. Section 11 covers the position under the European and United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulations, which apply to CleanSmov spol. s.r.o. as a company established in the Czech Republic.

2. What is actually collected

There is no form, no newsletter subscription, no account, no quiz, no chat widget and no input field of any kind anywhere on this site. There is nothing to fill in, and nothing is gathered from you by the pages themselves.

The site sets no cookies and allows no third party to set cookies through it. It uses no local storage, session storage or other browser storage, no tracking pixels, no analytics, no advertising tags and no fingerprinting. It loads no scripts, fonts, images or stylesheets from any external service, so loading a page contacts no company other than the one hosting this site.

Two categories of information exist in connection with this site, and only two:

1. Server logs. The provider hosting this website records ordinary technical logs when a page is requested: the IP address making the request, the browser's user agent string, the address requested, the response code, and the date and time. This is standard web server operation and happens before any page content is delivered.
2. Email correspondence. If you write to info@paramountworks.online, we hold that email: your address, whatever you chose to put in the message, and our reply. Nothing obliges you to include personal details, and we ask that you never send passwords, card numbers, government identifiers or identity documents.

3. Why each category is held, and on what basis

Server logs are held to keep the site available and secure — diagnosing faults, identifying abusive traffic and investigating security incidents. The basis is the legitimate interest of the publisher in operating a secure website; there is no consent basis, because no cookie or tracking technology is in use and none is being consented to.

Email correspondence is held for the single purpose of reading and answering your message, and keeping a record of what was asked and answered. The basis is the legitimate interest of both parties in conducting the correspondence you began.

Neither category is used for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making or any form of marketing. Neither is sold, rented or traded, and no mailing list exists.

4. How long each category is kept

• Server logs: retained for up to 30 days from the date of the request, then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of the hosting provider's operation.
• Email correspondence: retained for up to 24 months from the last message in the exchange, then deleted. Where correspondence concerns a legal claim or a regulatory matter, it is kept until that matter is concluded and any applicable limitation period has passed.

5. Who else receives it, and where it goes

The hosting provider that serves this website processes the server logs described above, because operating a web server requires it. That provider acts on our instructions and for no other purpose. Its identity is available on request by email; we name no other recipient here because there is no other recipient. Email correspondence is processed by the provider of our email service, again solely to deliver and store the messages.

No information is passed to the vendor of any advertised product by this site. Following an advertising link takes you to that vendor's own website, at which point the vendor's own privacy policy applies to your dealings with it — this site tells the vendor nothing about you, and receives nothing about you in return.

Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8). CleanSmov spol. s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, and the providers hosting this site and its email are located outside Australia, in the European Union. Information described in this policy — including IP addresses in server logs and the contents of any email you send — is therefore handled by recipients outside Australia and is subject to the laws of those countries rather than Australian law. By using the site or writing to us, you should be aware that this overseas handling takes place. We take reasonable steps to deal only with providers subject to the European data protection framework.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. Access to server logs and to the email account is limited to the people at CleanSmov spol. s.r.o. who maintain this publication, through credentialled accounts. Because nothing is collected through the site itself, there is no database of reader information here to protect, and that is deliberate: information never gathered cannot be lost.

7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

If you have written to us, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Write to info@paramountworks.online, with enough detail to identify the correspondence. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or your request, please tell us first, so we have the chance to put it right. If it remains unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which regulates privacy under the Privacy Act 1988 and explains its complaints process on its own site.

8. Notifiable data breaches

If a data breach occurred that was likely to result in serious harm to an individual whose personal information we hold, we would notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, describing the breach, the information involved and the steps we recommend in response.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children, and it is intended for readers aged 16 and over. It collects nothing from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly hold personal information about a person under 16; if such information reached us by email, it would be deleted once identified.

10. European and United Kingdom data protection

CleanSmov spol. s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the European General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing, as does the United Kingdom GDPR where a reader is in the United Kingdom.

The legal basis for both categories described above is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): operating a secure website, and answering correspondence that the reader initiated. Consent is not relied on and no consent banner is displayed, because the site sets no cookies and uses no tracking technology — there is no processing here that requires consent.

Where those regulations apply, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where technically applicable, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests go to info@paramountworks.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office; or the authority in your country of residence.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date at the top, and the previous position is not quietly replaced: a change that affects how personal information is handled will be described on the page. Should the site ever introduce a cookie, an analytics tool, a form or any other collection mechanism, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated, and any required consent mechanism put in place, before that mechanism goes live rather than afterwards.
